Film and fashion (and fun) will join the inaugural San Francisco Fashion Film Festival in the spring of 2012. San Francisco Fashion Film Festival (FashFilmFest) is at the Roxie Theater, a new film festival that the role of design, style and costume in the film explores. With a day of screenings, panel discussions, and events, takes a fresh look FashFilmFest movie trends, fashion and culture have influenced the entire decade.

looking for films that have inspired trends, beauty, design and culture, and give to the participants to understand the usual Hollywood flagship and access to the creators. Some of the best examples of costume, will design, storytelling, and cinematography are examined in the drama category. Stories of designers and artists who shaped the world of fashion and style will be on display through documentaries.
FashFilmFest
recognizes the deep reserves of stories out there to tell the world of fashion and style, inviting independent filmmakers to present their work. The call for entries for independent films is open until Friday, February 3, 2012. Independent films can be submitted for reimbursement through the website fashfilmfest.org.

The Roxie Theater, the oldest continuously operating theater in San Francisco, turned 100 in 2009. Its function as an independent art house theater since 1970, combining the best of art, music, documentaries and foreign.
